Michelle Fernandes is a junior in Chemical Engineering with a minor in the Multidisciplinary Engineering Program at the University of Michigan. She is extensively involved with BLUElab (Better Living Using Engineering Laboratory) an organization focused on sustainability, community development, and appropriate technology. Within the organization, she is specifically involved as the President of the organization as a whole, as well as a member within the Woven Wind project team. She enjoys volunteering at the University of Michigan Children’s Hospital and actively participating in events through Theta Tau – Professional Engineering Fraternity.
