The unifying platform where all the organizations lead by YOUth meet with the purpose of inspiring action!

YOUth is being trained to be the best entrepreneurs, however, the reality is that becoming an entrepreneur is not as easy as it sounds. We needa support network of similar YOUng entrepreneurs that keep us on track, that share resources with us and that collaborate with the purpose of developing YOUth and Organizations and Start-ups lead by YOUth. With the hope of creating a network in which all the new YOUng organizations can meet and agree to share resources, YOUnite will serve as the backbone connection to this collaboration and the platform to inspire YOUth to take action and get involve!

Vision: All organizations, non-profit and for profit, lead by YOUng individuals or focused in YOUth development, collaborating with the purpose of getting YOUth in Panama to take on an active role in their communities.

Mission: To YOUnite organizations lead by YOUng individuals to complement efforts and share resources with the hope of improving their work and inspiring YOUth in Panama to take action within these organizations or with an idea of their own.

Objectives:

  • To create a network of YOUng organizations/individuals that are willing to collaborate and commit to share ideas and resources not limited to: volunteers, sponsors, knowledge etc..
  • To connect YOUng organizations/individuals that dont necessarily have the same mission, but that work in Panama and who share  the desire to inspire youth to  do something.
  • To calculate through an "YOUth Engagement Census" the percentage of engaged YOUth in their communities.
  • To aware YOUth of existing organizations in Panama in which they can participate in.
  • To expose YOUth to innovative ideas and young entrepreneurs that can inspire them to put their own ideas into action.

FIVE PROJECT QUESTIONS Required (60 - 90 minutes)

1. What is your innovation?
YOUnite will be the backbone of a network of young organizations/individuals that are willing to collaborate by sharing ideas and resources with the purpose of exposing YOUth to innovative ideas and YOUng entrepreneurs and by this inspiring them to get involve with existing organizations or put into action ideas of their own.
2. Who gains the most?
Its a win-win situation for both, organizations lead and integrated by YOUth and for YOUng individuals wishing to get involved and do something in their communities. The organizations will get an interested YOUng audience, that will supply their human capital need as volunteers, while the YOUth will be exposed to opportunities to become change makers and action takers.
3. Who pays?
The target sponsors/donors are companies that provide goods whose target costumer is YOUth, as well as organizations and government agencies whose mission is aligned with youth empowerment, development and engagement. Creating an annual membership fee for the participating organizations is a tentative idea to cover the operations/marketing/administrative fees of the organization.
4. What is your success?
12 months:A network of at least 10 organizations commited to collaborate by signing of the "YOUnite Resolution" and the "Engaged YOUth Census" carried out. 3 years: At least 40 organizations collaborating through the YOUnite network out of which 10 are founded by old volunteers that have become entrepreneurs and an increase of 20% engagement in YOUth in Panama. 5 years: 100 organizations in the network, 50 founded by new entrepreneurs and a 50% YOUth engagement increase from the last census.
5. How will you do it?
YOUnite has 3 clients: The Organizations, YOUth in Panama and the Sponsors. Recruiting the Organizations: identify organizations lead by YOUth and present them the network and its benefits. Recruiting YOUth: Host networking events in which the YOUng staff/volunteers and interested individuals can meet and learn about opportunities to become involved. The Ideal sponsor: Those who believe that future change and development relies in YOUth and care to create ways to inspire them to take action.
