Secrets are important hidden information of a country, family or organization. Country wise, these information may include; its military weapons, military practice and crime investigation methods. At family level, this information may include; the family wealth and the writing of will. On the other hand secret writing at organizational level may include means of production of a particular commodity, its components and ways of maximizing profits. Computer technology has improved secrecy and confidentially in written communication but there is still much to be done to address the challenges that computer technology faces for example hacking. It is because of these challenges facing hand written and computerized secrets that I have decided to come up with a new way of writing secrets using chemicals, secret writing in halogens that would in one way or the other overcome the above mentioned challenges. NOTE that the project has used halogens but with time, variety of chemicals will be developed so that it’s very difficult for one to case the chemical that was used to write the secret and the one required to avail it.
Why the innovation is social?

• Crime investigation-has to be sophisticated to combat crime that is a social problem-deviant behavior.
• Human rights-it improves privacy of personal information for example family, writing of will.
• Economic wise, this form of writing secrets boast production and maintains the profit margins of corporate bodies of a country because it is very difficult to steal economic data. This alleviates poverty.

Objectives

5. To contribute to the body of knowledge (education) by providing unseen applications of halogens based on their physical and chemical properties.
