Nurturing govt. schools so that under privilege students should have access to library who cannot afford books
Every school is important for us.  And similarly every child is special.  But there are some schools and children who need special attention and care due to various socio-economic, cultural and geographical reasons.Extensive approach encourages community participation through donations and activities, in any of the government schools. It gives the flexibility to choose the school and the kind of donation that one wants to make.

The habit of reading can be a lifetime gift for any child. Impressionable minds can be nurtured and moulded in ways more than one. But books and the printed word are among the best tools used for reaching out to a child. Despite the deep penetrating reach of the visual media, books have a definite edge over other mediums of communication and entertainment.

Team VIJAY LAKSHYA have started a new project called “project pusthakshala” to inculcate and develop the reading habits amongst children because we believe that “A good reader today will be a good leader tomorrow”.

HOW TO BE A PART OF IT?

“Project Pusthakshala” is open to all the generous donors who wish to be a part of making today’s children as tomorrow’s leaders of the nation. We have nodal points all over the city where our volunteers can collect your valuable donations.

What kind of books you can donate?

Comics , grammar books , science facts books , encyclopaedia’s , dictionaries ,  computer books , general knowledge books , puzzles , subject related books

FIVE PROJECT QUESTIONS Required (60 - 90 minutes)

1. What is your innovation?
This idea of charity is simple and effective. The requirements are reasonable and appeals more to the common mass. Instead of donating cash, we ask people to donate old books. In this way, they are keen to share what they possess because they know it's going for a good cause. And in today's time, there's a dire need to provide good education to children in our country. It's possibly the most hassle free approach to contribute to the country's education system without paying anything extra.
2. Who gains the most?
The government schools or schools working at the grass root level, and the students studying there, will be benefiting the most through this activity. Because it is for them that this project has been initiated. The books will be donated to schools which do not have a proper library to provide its students, so that every child has an access to reading good books.
3. Who pays?
There can be many ways including direct and Indirect donations. Direct donation consists of books and study materials being directly donated. Indirect donations which cannot be used directly can be auctioned to raise funds. Apart from this, people who are willing to teach part time, can join in.
4. What is your success?
Children benefiting from this project will be the biggest achievement!
5. How will you do it?
It will be done by involving youth and people who can either donate or help us to implement all the ideas that we initiate.
