The innovation consists of a black metal pot with a specially designed Fresnel lens that fits on the top of the pot with a rubber suction seal.  The Fresnel lens boils water by focusing sunlight to heat a central location in the pot filled with water. The black color of the pot absorbs the suns rays and will make the water heat faster. Due to the high temperatures year round in this area, the water will boil. The boiling water will evaporate and condensate on the lens. This pure water will run down the lens on the top of the device and be collected in a gutter surrounding the rim of the pot. It will then drain through a sealed pipe into a separate glass water bottle like container that can be screwed on and off.
