This project will increase and improve knowledge, research and increase Internet penetration in makurdi.

we would buy internet wireless modems from the ISP and stategically locate them in 5 parts of the cities to provide internet access. 

These wireless modems will be located Petro Filling stations which have costant power supply day and night in the course of doing business.

This is enure costant power supply. Upon discusion, the Management of the selected pertol stations have agreed not to charge us because the modems do not really consume any sizable energy.

 

At least two will be located close to the University community which do not provide its students with internet access.

1. What is your innovation? 
my innovation is the provision of INTERNET service to the public partnering with petrol filling stations. this will make this filling stations apart from selling petroleum products be agent of social improvement and contributing to social impacts.
2. Who gains the most? 
The people; students, undergraduate and postgraduates.
3. Who pays? 
We pay for the cost of the internet and purchase of Modem for at least one year but we shall look for other partners to subsequently feet the bills.
4. What is your success? 
provision of wireless INTERNET to over 10, 000 people
5. How will you do it? 
Buy INTERNET modem called hynet from MTN ISP and subscribe for one year for each of the stations. Get the necessary approval from the management who have already agreed and install them.
