Findia. A Journalism-, Charity- and Art Project. Find out more about ... Findia`s goal is to reach perspectivness for the beauty of the country and as well the unthinkable conditions of minority’s in India with journalistic work and Multimedia projects.

These are created by young social committed students who are dedicated to provide the world with facts about India. Our idea of getting these facts is to workout questions by researching the topic. We ask the same questions different people related to the topic. For instance NGOs, victims, journalists, policemen, UN officers, professors, students and politicians were questioned “How do you draw the situation of human trafficking in India?”. As a result we got a 360 degrees perspective even or especially for the reason of different answers given.

All of the team members work voluntarily in their free time and just for the good cause. It is tried to pass down the information in a creative way (Videos, Photos, Posters, Artworks, ...), besides the classical way of articles. Findia created a strong community on all relevant Social Media Platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Vimeo, Pinterest and YA! Friends.

 Multimedia projects:

“Read My Voice”, “Children:Street:Art” – workshop, video & photo series,

“Wordrap” – wordclouds, 200 interviewed people asked questions about social, economical, political and personal topics, “India is” – video, “Different but Same | Children in the everyday life...” , “My Symbol of India”, “Sound of India” – video & audio, Microfinance 2.0, Minorities in the society, The work of NGOs in India, Human Trafficking and the UN MDGs...

Apart from the work with the children and women, Findia also deals with many different crucial matters concerning India. Some of them are Microfinance, minorities or the legal situation in India. To get a detailed perspective of them, the Findia team talks with various diverging people from different backgrounds. Additionally, the team experiences plenty of unique situations and gets a deep insight into the life of India. The collected information will be represented with articles displayed in newspapers, Tv, etc. and Social Media. Especially with Social Media a wide range of people can be reached to get interested in Findia`s aim. Findia informs, makes aware, connects and helps.

FIVE PROJECT QUESTIONS Required (60 - 90 minutes)

1. What is your innovation?
The main aims of Findia is Awareness rising and to deliver knowledge to educate, to break with stereotypes and to bring detailed and colorful information into an often black and white thinking world. And to spread this via Social Media as well in Schools and Universities.
2. Who gains the most?
Findia is a win-win-win project for all people involved. - Participants and members: Education, trainings, experience, unique trip,... - NGOs: Promotion, support, attention, funds,... - Victims/children/minorities: being heard, someone who cares, give them a voice, listen...
3. Who pays?
All of the team members work voluntarily in their free time and just for the good cause and pay for their own fees and travel costs. Just for project material costs we have a private donor.
4. What is your success?
We measure our success in people we reach and feedback (fb sheets) we get. Reaching 4 million people within a week with one of our multimedia projects (read my voice) was stunning. It showed one more time that fellowship is leadership in it self. If i have the curage to follow an outstanding idea, i show at the same time how to follow to others and become a leader. That happened with our "Read My Voice" project giving women a chance to voice up and they encouraged other woman to do so as well.
5. How will you do it?
Making my hobby to my job I have the chance to work in a great environment. WIth my outstanding team we have proved that our system and idea works. Now we want to bring it to the next level to engage more people.
