Our most important impact is that this will bring manufacturing to everyone, when coupled with 3D printing.

Filabot is a desktop extruding system, capable of grinding various types of plastics, to make spools of plastic filament for 3D printers. Not only is it user friendly, but it is also environmentally friendly. The Filabot can process things such as: milk jugs, soda bottles, shopping bags, along with various other types of plastics, and bad prints, to make new filament for a future print. Filabot will bring the real power of sustainability to 3D printing, allowing for a one stop shop to make anything. The Filabot will help home users produce and recycle plastic. It will also help to give the power of 3D printing to remote 3rd world countries by allowing to them to turn the waste plastic that they have around them into a usable object.

FIVE PROJECT QUESTIONS Required (60 - 90 minutes)

1. What is your innovation?
Our innovation is bringing the manufacturing of unlimited number of object into peoples homes. We are closing the loop with plastic, creating a self sustainable environment of plastic and object creation.
2. Who gains the most?
The users of our system gain the most. Users of our system can produce 3D printing filament for less then 50cents a pound, compared to $45.00 per pound. Plus our users can recycle the plastic that they use, either bad 3D printed parts or plastic that they already have around them.
4. What is your success?
Our success will be getting 3rd world courtiers set up with 3D Printing and our system to show them that they can make anything they need. Some of the necessities that they might need can be as simple as a cup or a fork.
