To improve the Alzheimer patient and their care-giver's life by providing an accurate early diagnosis.

The time when an informed doctor would say “Yes, you have an Alzheimer’s disease. SORRY!!! But there’s nothing to be done, IT’S LATE!!

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is the most common form of dementia which leads to loss of memory and affects thinking, behaviour and the ability to perform everyday activities.

Every 71 seconds someone develops AD.

More than 26 million people worldwide suffer from AD and it is forecasted to quadruple by 2050. An estimated 5.4 million Americans of all ages had AD in 2011. This includes 5.2 million people aged 65 years or older and 200,000 individuals under age 65 who had younger- onset Alzheimer’s.

OUR VISION

To facilitate AD detection at an early-stage improving patients and their care-giver’s life quality.

OUR MISSION

To offer a standardised, efficient and cheap Alzheimer’s diagnosis kit AlzMarker  with an accuracy of more than 98%.

ALZHEIMER'S MISDIAGNOSIS, ACCURACY IS IMPORTANT.

Memory loss may not be only sign of early Alzheimer’s. And since Alzheimer's is sixth-leading cause of death across all ages, often other causes of dementia or memory loss symptoms are overlooked.

Alzheimer’s is often undiagnosed in the early stages due to limited accuracy and reliability of the testing methods. Early diagnosis allows timely treatments which can improve prognosis. In a study determining the accuracy of correct diagnosis, It showed more than 50% had been incorrectly diagnosed when first seen by a doctor and of those with unusual initial symptoms, about 47% had been misdiagnosed at the time of their deaths.

Misdiagnosis of Alzheimer’s can lead to erroneous use of drugs in addition with emotional and economical disturbances to individuals and their families and care-takers.

So, we accept the challenge to provide doctors/GP a diagnostic kit enabling them to more early recognise and diagnosis early- onset Alzheimer’s, which would allow them to do a better job of treating patients and improving the quality of their lives.
