Breaking the wall of education by ICT

There’s huge shortage of teachers in rural and under-developed regions, and our project is to provide best teaching material in DVD for students in these areas to help them get to universities.

Our team will provide DVD contents for students in 3 countries in 2012.

In Bangladesh, we will start our e-class of 3 subjects for 200 high school studens in poor villages, 25 May.

3 subjects are English, Bengali and Social Study, and it is going to be 60 hours in total. We have shoot the class of the best teacher in Bangladesh.

In Parestine refugee camp in Jordan, we started our e-class of Mathematics for 50 Parestine refugee students, 7 April

We shoot the classes of the best Mathmatic teacher, Mr. Mohammed Saleh in Jordan for 20 hours.

In Rwanda, we will start our e-class of Chemistory for 50 high school students in a poor village, 25 April

We shoot the class of the best Chemistory teacher, Mr. Generald in Rwanda for 10 hours.

We started this e-Education Project from 2010 and provided e-class for 50 stundents within the past two years in Bangladesh.

70% of our students passed university entrance exams from 2010 to 2011.

3 students passes the best university in Bangladesh, Dhaka Univeristy.

We will expand this project to 5 continents by 2013 and change the world!!!!

FIVE PROJECT QUESTIONS Required (60 - 90 minutes)

1. What is your innovation?

Applying e-learning system, a system that uses DVD as media to bring best teacher resources to remote and poor areas, to under developed regions, like Homchor in Bangladesh, Baqaa in Jordan and Butare in Rwanda, to help local students to get best education and get well prepared for university entry exams. We started first video class in rural area in Bangladesh,Jordan and Rwanda, It makes the world that student can share best teacher by IT. Its our innovation.

2. Who gains the most?

Students who cannot reach to higher education because of their poverty, geographical restriction and gender gain the most. In Jordan, that is students who live in Palestine refugee camps. In Bangladesh and Rwanda, that is students who live in a village, Homchor and Butare, where are extremely far away from its capital. We have delivered our DVD contents to 50 students in Bangladesh so far, and now its 55 students in Jordan. This number will be 500 in 12 months (Bangladesh, Jordan and Rwanda)

3. Who pays?

Individual donations, online supporters, organization sponsorships from Hitotsubashi university and some company presidents like Mr. Fukutake from UNIQLO. We are also working with United Nations Relief , Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East and UNRWA, and Rwanda Education Ministry to get support on networking, teaching resources, etc. We aim to cooperate with International Education Institutes and local education officers to get long-term sustainability.

4. What is your success?

To increase the number of students who go to the best university in each country from rural area is our first success. Then we will make this system an education infrastructure so that more students can access best teachers by IT. Best teacher is treasure of the country. So all student have a right to access them not only rich student but also poor student.Share the best teacher by IT is our final success.

5. How will you do it?

By using e-learning, we offer the best classes to students who otherwise never can reach to it, and send them to good universities. To make the best DVD contents, we find the best teacher in each country, and ask to join us. The DVDs are delivered to the targeted area like a refugee camp or very rural area. To support the students, we also find a university students who goes to the best university and ask for his/her help as a tutor, who is always connected with the students by mobile or E-mail.
