CashIn represents the push against the current culture of limitless spending and debt creation.

Extreme poverty is a violation of human rights. CashIn joins the United Nations' first Millennium Development Goal - the eradication of extreme global poverty. The tolerance of individuals living on less than a dollar a day exists because millions of individuals have been conditioned to believe they cannot address such a massive problem. This is not true. To support our mission with your vote please register in the upper right hand corner. Once you confirm your email address you will be able to vote for our project.

We envision the use of video games to create positive financial and social change in our communities. The technology would be customized to recognize and adapt to the user to create an understanding between the relationship of choices and consequences. Our scripts are created based on real user experiences with the understanding that learning is an interactive experience, so the user is encouraged to frequently participate in order to aid the progression of the storyline and complete the game experience.

Our games provide a safe environment for students to learn without the harsh consequences of an uninformed decision in the real world.  Our first set of games will target high school and college students ages 14 - 20 to supplement the gaps that have resulted from the systematic removal of basic economics from the core curriculum of the educational system for the past three generations. This population was selected because of its vulnerability. After graduating from high school, young adults are unprepared for long-term, life-impacting financial decisions including the cost of higher education.

CashIn is committed to helping future generations lead financially responsible lives free of debt and poverty.

What is your innovation?
CashIn creates interactive financial literacy video games for teens. The game recognizes the learning level of the end user and provides a customized road map to help them obtain their goals. As the user completes their road map the game adapts to the end user with modules which address gaps in learning. Please view our product demo here: http://tiny.cc/4jsodw
Who gains the most?
Financial literacy is the first rung of the ladder of social support. CashIn is a poverty vaccine; strengthening the money management abilities of society reduces poverty among youth enabling them to pursue their dreams, volunteer and thrive without the shackles of debt and ruined credit. Families gain a platform to understand and discuss issues surrounding money. High school students gain the ability to get in front of the common financial life issues that arise when attending college.
Who pays?
CashIn financial literacy video games will be sold for $30 a unit directly to households. We are also looking to enter the high school and college education system.
What is your success?
We define success through the eyes of our customer. Parents will see a positive change in their teens behavior as their understanding of the use and value of money grows. Teens make the connection between their financial choices and the consequences. CashIn provides a safe environment for teens to learn about the impact of their decisions without the harsh consequences of uniformed ones in society. The structure empowers teens to make positive decisions to support their goals.
How will you do it?
Our mission is achieved by our strategy to create modules based on experiences from teens and speak directly to their concerns and dreams. Individuals support the world they create. We ask households to contribute $1 a day for one month to provide their children with tools to increase their financial awareness. New federal legislation requires institutions receiving federal aid provide financial literacy education. CashIn offers better more affordable tools to parents and families.
