What is the "vote" button for?
It's for voting for a project to win a People's Choice Award. Learn about People's Choice Award prizes here: http://www.dellchallenge.org/about/2013-prizes-and-awards.
Who is eligible to vote?
Anyone who registers on the DSIC website is able to vote for projects. Registration is open to the general public.
How many times can I vote for a project?
You can only vote once for each project, but you can vote for as many projects as you'd like.
I want to vote for a friend's project. How do I find it?
Go to Discover/Browse and use the Search tool to search by individual name, project name, university name or other criteria.
Do I have to create a profile to vote for a project?
Yes, only votes from registered users are considered in the People's Choice Awards.
How do you prevent voting fraud?
Each visitor to DellChallenge.org can only cast one vote per project. We track this by capturing each voter's email address. Our site's backend also scans for user attempts to "game the system" with fraudulent votes.
